"Small Wonder" Solution
Here is a nine-step solution to the first part of the puzzle.
The pictures assume that Peegue is moving without any hesitation.
It's all about timing.

Oh Mark!

Thank you so much for all your hard work making these screen shots.

After about 10 tries I got the timing right and managed to get there.

A masterpiece stinker of a level, and those who got it without the spoiler are very clever people!
