extracting custom houses and models

I never downloaded any of the custom models or houses because I didn't think I would need any of them since all the custom games play fine, except maybe one of them. I doubt if I'll ever create a level, I'm not that creative as far as making games. Anyway I decided to download them all from Mette's page and the first one I went to extract was password protected, it was custom houses 051019-051118, contains 6 files. Do I need these files to play the custom levels?

No you don't need them. You'll still get houses but they will be the normal ones for the game not the custom ones.
