- Is this because it was not made using the editor? I tried hex-editing a level to get a fifth line, and
when I played the level, the whole computer froze and only responded if I closed the computer
down. - Impossible!!!!!!!!!!!!!.jpg (64.06 KiB) Viewed 2792 times

Hi Darshan,
What Patrick may have done with the sign in the Tutorial was add an extra return.
To insert a blank line, relocate the # symbol as pictured below.

After you relocate the # symbol, you can safely open it in the Custom Editor to change or add text for any sign.
However, the fifth line for each sign, must be edited manually in the Hex Editor.
See illustration below.

Here is the Sample Level with the Altered Code.
Sign #3 can be viewed in the Custom Editor.

Do I have to use the editor to then get a fourth line after making the fifth line in the hex-editor?

No, the fourth line is the same as it was before in the Custom Editor.
You will need the hex editor to make any changes to the fifth line.
