Wonderland Fangame: Adventures In Wonderland
Wonderland Fangame: Adventures In Wonderland
This is my Wonderland Fangame! It uses Stinky's smily animations (
,
, etc.) and is made with TGF2. There are some glitches (Pay attention by the boulder part... You can cause something odd to happen
), but this is just the first beta. There is one level, and then a screen where a lot of Stinkys run all over your screen (
).All graphics except the Stinky animations done by me from scratch. Enjoy.

Played your published version. I'm not going hard on you, but I'm merciless when it comes to pointing out mistakes in beta versions. I know how hard it is to make a game, so no offence intended.
1) The pixel-precise approach feels a little weird to me. IMO, it doesn't suit a Wonderland-style game.
2) The "round button showcase" feels like a little cheat to me -- we can't see if it's any different from a square button, since it's immediately blocked. (i.e. will it unpress once the boulder is gone?) And with that boulder-through-wall bug I have a reason to doubt the authiencity of this moment.
3) The breaktile only breaks when I step to the right and only at a certain moment -- if I instead step back nothing happens.
4) A quite a gamebreaking bug (which requires a new start) is after passing the breaktile, going back inside the new void. You of course won't be able to do it, but you'll get stuck and won't be able to move.

Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.

1) I tried to see how to get a tile engine, but I have no clue how to get an underlying grid that everything stays on like real Wonderland games.Muzozavr wrote:Played your published version. 2) The round button is simply copied off the square button, I was just testing it out for starters - but yes, this will be fixed also.
3) The break tile acts the way it does because I think that if I told it to break as soon as you got off, it would probably cause the bug you mentioned below.
4) I ran into this while testing, but only once. I will try to fix it, or I'll just remove the break until I know how to make it work correctly.
Thanks - this should help me get my game better
"Tester's merciless reply"
1) Isn't there something like a snap to grid option? It surely was in GM, is it not there in TGF2?
2) OK.
3) Why?
4) OK.

Looks pretty cool so far -- if you really get it going, should be a damn nice Wonderland fangame!

Surely there must be one in TGF2 though.
Hey, I normally use GM obviously, but I'll download that TGF2 again and see if I can find that Snap To Grid thing in TGF2 and then I'll tell you where it is...
Very good game so far. I want more levels!

1)I believe the snap to grid is just for editing - there probably is one in MMF2 (don't have, can't use) or maybe TGF2. I'll take a look.Muzozavr wrote:"Tester's merciless reply"![]()

3) Because the coding tells the game that when you touch the break tile void, your movement should stop.

Qloof234 I watched the video but noticed the description. At the end you put copyright midnight synergy when this is your game. I think patrick said this:

In other words, please correct me if I'm wrong, that Midnight Synergy is not responsible for your game in any means necessary.Midnight Synergy wrote:The title screen includes the remark that the game is not "official" and hence Midnight Syngery has no responsibility for its content.
