ENTHUSIASM ENTHUSIASM.

Yeah, I have an idea where you complete various missions given to you by an unseen Master in a high-tech lab, sending robots and gadgets instead of communicating with you directly. Some of the missions may not be the kindest, but it's all for a good cause. Or is it? As you travel you hear news of, see evidence of, and see directly the journeys of another character who people refer to as the Hero. Oh, and the planned epic action platforming with epic music and professional graphics is so awesome even the people who are good at GM couldn't do that. How do you like my nice story though?

If this were to get anywhere, where would you guys want a tutorial?

I don't know C++, but I do know ASM. I'm also good with level design in the Source Engine in general.

I would, but I lack skills in:

-Epic music
-Professional graphics

AKA everything but fun gameplay. (Yes, I've fine tuned myself.)

Ok, I can make a small tune or two in the near future. What style of music do you want?
Long or short?
Happy or sad?
Slow or fast?
etc. - just say what you want the "mood" of the music to be.

The village-happy slow stuff to be a village theme. Length doesn't matter.

The crater and thick forest-Lonely? There wouldn't be anyone there except for the Master when you get to his lab, which would have different music.

Eh, maybe. Here's what I have planned so far: You are in a village filled with cute colorful creatures, and then you learn to play while stealing a toaster from a house (which bugs yous conscience a bit). You learn from the cute creatures that Timmy has fallen in the well. Then you make your voyage through a deep forest into the crater, in which is your Master's high-tech lab. Your Master tells you what your new mission is, and you ask if you can help Timmy. He says there's no time, so you don't. You complete your next mission, and when you get back, you learn that one of the creatures (who is the only gold one) rescued Timmy, and that he's such a Hero.
