I try to find workarounds, but I keep coming back to the problem of the toaster. WHO CAN DRAW A TOASTER AD SPARE ME THE PAIN OF ASKING A GUY TO DO SPRITES FOR ME!?!?

Qloof, how do I make your thingy transparent without right-clicking on it? This forum stopped accepting my right-clicks recently.

Save it with a file ending that supports transparency. I think PNG might work.

CURRENTLY NEEDED (and suppliers):

A toaster (MNI-No, he's evil. MyNameIsKooky?)
2 or 3 different hut types. (???)
A well. (???)
Village Theme (Theme = Background/Ground/Possibly Miscellaneous Scenery) (???)
Forest Theme (???)
Crater Theme (???)
Lab Theme (???)
Village Music (Theox if he gets around to it I guess I dunno)
Forest and Crater Music (TheoX if he gets around to it I guess I dunno)
Boss Music (No bosses except the last two planned yet, but I think I'll want to have some.)

ENGINE I WANT:

I want a semi-explorable world rather than linear-ness or a world map or something. I also want scrolling, but making everything one room would be a PAIN. I might do scrolling levels where you are teleported somewhere else once you leave the edge. If I can figure out how to do that.

ONCE AGAIN, CALLING PEOPLE WHO EITHER CAN GIVE ME GM7 OR KNOW HOW TO MAKE IMAGES TRANSPARENT IN GM8. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING ELSE. HELP. THANKS.

Just use the eraser in the sprite editor to make them transparent.

I tried that. The guy ended up with holes in him and white stuck to him and stuff.

You have to erase ALL of the stuff you don't want so it has these white and gray checkerboard pattern where you want it to be transparent.

That's why I liked GM7, all you have to do was fill it with green and it's transparent. But I was a fool and went and upgraded.
