Started by me on June 15th, 2008, this chat contains various Wonderland players from all over the world, ranging from GMT-7 to GMT+12. On there, we discuss all kinds of things, such as computers, math, languages, music, puzzles, games, hyperspatial geometry and many other things.

The chat currently spans about 25,000 pages.

1. You MUST:
1/1. Act mature.
1/2. Respect everyone else. (You may act disrespectfully to someone if he doesn't respect you, but that's not a preferred action and may be looked down upon.)

2. You may:
2/1. Overuse internet memes (ranging from "lol" to "OVER 9000" and beyond)
2/2. Reveal your full name.
2/3. Talk about your boyfriend/girlfriend, a crush you've got, or anything else related.
2/4. Do pretty much everything else that doesn't oppose the "you may not" rules below.

3. You may NOT:
3/1. Generalise.
3/2. Start random, pointless arguments.
3/3. Be generally ignorant.
3/4. Criticise deconstructively.
3/5. Spam more than 7 messages in a row. If the message is very long, do not post it more than once.
3/6. Repeat a message (e.g. for emphasis) more than 7 times in a row.
3/7. Swear directly at people.
3/8. Be judgmental.
3/9. Publicly talk about banning, kicking, promoting or demoting a member.

You won't accept responsibility or apologize for your actions that are having an extreme effect in the long run, that you could shrug off anything with anything mono-syllabic, and that you thought you were better than everyone and thus had full rights to be condescending to us.

We were being democratic, and our final decision was to mute you. You were the one who left.

Blast, you may want to add that we do occasionally curse on the chat, so it's not for those who are offended by that type of thing.
We also expect that if we share secrets, they should stay secrets, so don't discuss or reveal them on the forum.

Few notes:
1. About 3/5 and 3/6: 7 is only a recommended value. Just stop when someone asks you to stop.
2. About 2/4: This means we may talk about adult content (aka sex, alchol), violence, etc which is beyond WonderForum or official forum rules. Join at your own risk. But if you are uncomfortable about some subjects you are free to directly ask the person to stop talking about it (either publicly or privatly) except swearing (sorry, most of us in that chat swears).
3. About joining: You may PM one of the WonderForum staff members (except Emerald141 since he is not a member of the chat).
4. About topic changing: You are free to change the topic anytime you want, but note that other members can change the topic too. Our official chat topic this year is "rofl", so if 2 members are arguing what topic to put, just put our official chat topic for the year and stop arguing about it.
For anyone who is curious about our chat topics:
2009: "lol"
2010: "rofl"
2011: Not decided yet

At the end of the year chat members will be able to pick a new chat title. Chat titles are internet memes.
5. About photos: No limits, just not violence, horror or pornography.
6. About the 25000 page thing: We are trying to get on Guinness World Record for the longest Skype chat.
7. This chat will NEVER replace IRC, nor will IRC replace this chat (until either of them is no longer fashionable or closed down)
8. About 3/9: This only applies to the banning, kicking, promoting or demoting in the chat.

I think we should eventually unmute Darx.

It's definitely NOT fully his fault for everything he did. You may have noticed that he was very nice at the start and didn't provoke arguments.

My guess is as follows: his surroundings have changed. He simply hasn't gotten used to said change yet, which made him a little more sensitive and confused, and he lets his anger on us. Am I right, Darx?

What we need you to remember, is that we're NOT against you, and we're not intending to be cruel. We're not trying to fight against you.

Oh, and by the way: I was all the time against muting you. I knew it would make you even more sensitive, angry and confused, and that you'd only come back angrier. I knew we had to try a different way. It was only popular demand that made me take action.

Skype has a group video chat, correct? Is this chat a video chat, or a text chat? If it's the latter, I may join every once in a while.

It only has 2-person video chat at the moment. So, yes, it's a text chat.
They're introducing 5-person video chat soon, though.

No... as far as I can tell, not at all. That's closer to what happened to Jacob.

Umm, no..? My "surroundings" haven't changed at all.

Just thought I'd point that out.

Also, I'm all into bringing you back in, as long as you've realized what you've done and promise not to do it again. I know it's not fully your fault, too. There were some things Q and I said that we shouldn't have said, so I apologize for that.

Oh. I didn't mean exactly what he was describing, just how your mood seemed to change suddenly. Just saying....

AFAICT, we're both interpreting what's been happening in different ways. That being said... Sorry about that.

I'm in favor of unmuting as well, only reason I was in favor of muting to begin with was because of what I thought was going on, which was pretty off.

Look him up in the "Add Contact" button and add him back. There will be a option in his user chat that says "Unblock".
