What type of Music do you like?

What type of music do you guys like the most? I sorta like Pop music. These are all of the genres I can think of at the moment.

I'll go with other, because according to iTunes the genre for my favorite songs is "anime".

In other words, a mixed bag of all the other genres, just in Japanese.

Classical, neoclassical (Gustav Holst for example), jazz, electronic jazz (nifflas music for example), and certain kinds of pop.

My iPod has a range of 302 years between the oldest musical creation (1708) and the newest one (2010).

Anyways: Here's a song from Higurashi that I absolutely love:

With You -Kizuna-

A bit of an explanation.

Higurashi Arcs 1 to 4 had a set of character songs for all of the main characters (save Keiichi), each titled "Dear You" with the same general composition, followed by a Japanese character that stood for that character's personality. They were each sung by their character's voice actors.

For instance, Rika's was called "Dear You -Hope-", and Rena's was called "Dear You -Cry-".

Higurashi Kai came with four new character songs (technically). The first one, which is fan-named Dear You -Trust- is essentially Keiichi's song. The second is the main antagonist's character song, entitled Dear You -Will- (anyone who knows the antagonist's identity and motives will understand). The last was for Hanyuu, but was of a different composition and titled "Nano Desu" instead.

Lastly, there was "With You -Kizuna-". Kizuna stands for "Bonds", and as opposed to being a specific character's song, it represents basically every underlying theme (that's not violent) of Higurashi Kai.

Overall? It's a beautiful song, and a very inspiring one if you can get the lyrics in English or understand them. It also identifies each of the characters' personalities pretty well, all at once. It's amazing, really.

Usually it's classic / symphonic rock for me, sometimes hard rock or metal, even a bit light classic. (Strauss, Grieg etc.)

No it doesn't. Not liking means either neutral or disliking. As for disliking, it's a synonym of hating. Although hatred might be stronger than dislike. I don't like music, but I don't dislike it. It's neutral.

Then if it's about music I'm just the opposite of you because there's lots of music I like, and also lots of music I dislike, but not much music that's neutral to me.
