Kooky's Music Pack (V5)

Post by MyNameIsKooky » Sat Nov 06, 2010 9:57 pm

I've rarely ever seen anyone use actual custom music, so I decided to make some. The music files count down from 255.ogg as to not interrupt the other music files. You may need this for many of my upcoming adventures, so download this! Feel free to use this music in your own adventures as well. :)

DC 220.ogg - Outer Space
DD 221.ogg - DEATH METAL!!!
DE 222.ogg - Doomy Boss 1
DF 223.ogg - Doomy Boss 2
E0 224.ogg - 1.ogg Doomy Remix
E1 225.ogg - 6.ogg LOW PITCH EDITION
E2 226.ogg - Drama
E3 227.ogg - Post-Apocalyptic
E4 228.ogg - DOOM!!!
E5 229.ogg - Very Evil Place
E6 230.ogg - EXTREMELY EPIC LAIR THEME!!!

EB 235.ogg - Castle Lair

FC 252.ogg - Circus Music
FD 253.ogg - Random Boss Theme 1
FE 254.ogg - Random Boss Theme 2
FF 255.ogg - Random Boss Theme 3

E8 03 1000.ogg - Bad Wonderfalls Mix 1
E9 03 1001.ogg - Bad Wonderfalls Mix 2
EA 03 1002.ogg - Bad Wonderfalls Mix 3

To install the music into your WA Editor/Player, place the .ogg files into the Data/Music folder.

*UPDATE* Version 5 has been released! Download it for ten new tracks, along with the three Bad Wonderfalls tracks!

To use this music in your own levels, open up the .wlv file that you want to apply the music to using a Hex Editor. Scroll down to the bottom of the file. 12 characters to the left of the adventure title you'll see a number. Change this to one of the values to the left of the list of my music above. For instance, if you want to use 254.ogg, change the number to FE. Play the level and you'll have the music! You will no longer be able to change the music in the editor in the .wlv you edited if you do this! Be careful!

Lol I love the circus thing. Could go well if something crazy happens in a level. Where'd you find these?

I downloaded random mp3's off the internet, turned them into loops and fit the volume to suit the WA music engine.

It'll be my first time, but I have a very small amount of hex knowledge.

A=10
B=11
C=12
D=13
E=14
F=15

Dunno if those are right, got em from my computers calculator.

FF = 255
1A = 26

Try using your calculator's HEX option, it's helpful. :wink:

The other two boss themes are from Banjo Tooie's final battle and Banjo-Kazooie's final battle.

No, I already had that figured out the second or third time I heard it. I just didn't say anything. Don't accuse me of lying, I'm being honest!

My opinions on the possible usage of these in the last level of WA: iO:

Compound: Too electronicish.

Trolololo: Not fitting. At all.

Circus: Possibly. Fast paced, and could work.

Boss 1: Is it possible to be too epic? Oh well, this is a no.

Boss 2: Fast paced with a sound of danger. Tied with circus as a possibility.

Boss 3: I doubt I'll choose this, but I might listen to it again and see.
i should change my signature to be rude to people who hate pictures of valves
