New hub project?

Post by Technos72 » Sat Nov 27, 2010 9:23 pm

There has been some terrible progress on Wonderland Adventures: The Hero's Pyramid - the project I'm working on now - because I just don't find the hub's storyline exciting. I thought of some hub projects I can do that can be more better then this one. You can tell me what adventure you like best and I'll see what I can do. Or do you want me to continue with Hero's Pyramid? I have thought up of...

1. Wonderland Adventures: Half Stink (may change title)
It spoofs the Half Life 1 storyline. Where Black Mesa is Rainbow Mesa in the middle of the wasteland. I'll try to use command 51 to make thwarts become stinkers - If it's the only option - to make marine solder stinkers. But I don't know if tails is doing a hub project like that too after seeing the black mesa texture for something - I don't really know what it is.

2. Wonderland Adventures: The Legend of Pootsy
Another spoof and it's about The Legend of Zelda for the NES. There are no adventures in the overworld. It's for the dungeons. I'll include a texture for that too.

3. Wonderland Adventures: Prism Temple
This was supposed to be WA: Legends of the Rainbow I was discussing a long time ago. Until I wanted to change the title and storyline after liking the studies of optical physics in my science class. I knew the light spectrum is a rainbow of light and a prism can refract - known as to bend - light so that a rainbow appears. Now about this hub, I'll need to wait until I can possbily access the WA3 WOPs because I'm going to include indigo magic in this. And it's a big one! The storyline is there is an eighth thwart that is about to make Wonderland miserable. you find a temple called Prism Temple containing a special treasure and it must be unlocked by collecting the rainbow shards again that the eighth thwart has took back to their corresponding places.

4. Wonderland Adventures: Magic Glove
Another hub that needs indigo magic. Magic Glove is a huge hub that has a similar style to Portal but you use magic. The packs of levels each follow a rainbow color with it's rainbow magic. There are going to be 20 levels in each pack. So that's a lot of levels!

Hmm.... Legend of Pootsy sounds intresting....
As for the description, are you saying the adventures will be inside the dungeon?

But personally, I think I like the concepts of Prism Temple and Magic Glove. ...I think that it's weird how out of the seven colo(u)rs of Rainbow Magic, Purple/violet came first and Red came next to last.

Magic Gloves with 140 adventures... WOW!!

Hmm... I'm going to have to get back to you on this one... I can't make up my mind... :?

And yet.... Hero's Pyramid... *shot*

Technos, Why do you have to ask others to direct your game while you are its designer?

okay so it looks like most of you vote for Magic Gloves. You have two choices for how Magic Gloves should be made.

1. Use WA3 WOPs. Wait until it becomes available before starting progress.
2. Just start progress anyway. Don't include WA3 WOPs with the exception of the indigo magic. I will have to put the indigo levels last in line so that there's plenty of time to wait for WA3.

2. Just start progress anyway. (If you CAN start right away - if not, start when you feel like it. )

If you get started on Blink, Pop, and Brr, then you will have a head start by the time the WA3E comes out. :)

That way you can focus on using the MOFI and POTZ features without worrying too much about the first three magics.

(plus that's 60 adventures out of the way, nearly half of the project, excluding the hub)

Just start it. How do expect WA3 editor when MS didn't design a MOFI editor?

Two reasons.

First off, MS confirmed a WA3 editor to be released alongside WA3.

Second off, there was a MoFI editor. It was restricted to beta testers and designers of the game.

I can use pow. It's possible with the WA editor. I'm also using cbloopys tools so that I can make a MOFI hub. so thats Grow and Floing too. I just have to wait for indigo

No it's not. Indigo is between blue and purple/violet.
