I think it's only a matter of temperature. If you talk English on the North Pole, it's quite cool, but in the Sahara....

Sorry, It wasn't my intention to bother you with geografics. You only need to know that one is very cold (icy) and the other one very warm (burning sand)

On the other hand, since it's about languages, I think it's good to know on which place on Earth which language is spoken, so a little bit geografics may be good.
