21?! Nobody's 11. I'm the oldest person who goes on Wefight, and I'm turning 13 on July 2nd. None of the mature people go on Wefight anymore, and now that I'm becoming a true teen, I'M OUTTA THAT TOPIC RAWR.

But I'll stay in that topic nonetheless.

@Deeman: I think you're 10?

I think that Deeman is 6 or 7, and I USED to think MyNameIsKooky was 32.

Hey, You and me are the same age, Nobody.
Remember to look at the dates that every post is made. It's been many years, and I, and others, may not be the same people we were when we made them. This is a symbol of where we came from, and should be remembered as that.

Even than the 13-year-olds and 11-year-olds? YOU MUST BE 12.

You seem immature for a 12-year-old. *killed again*

Think Portal's ending is bad? I dare you to play Half-Life 1 and beat it all the way through.

I dare you.

Half-Life 2 isn't very scary apart from Chapter 6, which just screams "SILENT HILL", but the first game... Oh my GOD.

I played it and beat it all the way through a few weeks back, and it never ceases to scare me. I still have nightmares about the final boss.

Speaking of the Half-Life series, I actually have a deep-set hatred of Half-Life 2 now. Don't get me wrong, it's still awesome and all, but it is in no way a follow-up to the original, for several reasons.

First and foremost - Plot and setting.

Half-Life begins simply enough, Dr. Freeman ends up late for work and arrives an hour later than expected. Everything goes fine... until the experiment he's working on with another group of scientists blows up in their faces. From there on out, you're concentrated on getting out alive, and believe me - that's much easier said than done.

Half-Life 2 just doesn't have that same horror aspect to it, which is what I love about the first game. :(

Yeah, the sequels to stuff are almost never as good. Anyways, I want to try out Half-Life to see what it's like... once I bribe my mom into letting me buy it. :P

If you do get it on Steam, don't go for the Source version. It's a port of HL1 to the Source engine that Half-Life 2 and onwards uses, but for some reason autosaving is off by default (which has caused me no end of pain).

Also HL1NotSource has multiplayer as an integral part of the game, which is pretty fun too (SO MANY TRIPMINES).

I hear I need Half Life Source or something to run GMod, or will it already work if I have Portal? I want to contribute to the "SCOUT IS DELICIOUS" fad. :P

If you have any Source game from before Left 4 Dead, then yeah, you can run G-Mod just fine (Portal runs on Source as well).

I'll be buying Half-Life/GMod sometime in the near future.

Anyways, back on topic to Portal/Portal 2...

Heh, good luck when you do check it out.

Speaking of which, what's your Steam ID? We should really have a topic to find out this kind of stuff.
