I figgured out what I was doing wrong, then I instaled the following mods:
Airship
Some Mob Spawner thing that lets you mine them and pick what they spawn
Death Chest
Wizard Craft(this is epic.)
Elemental Arrows
Probaly something else I forgot about

My bro plans on getting Mo Creatures and some veins thing.

In 1.7 I opened up a grass flatland map with Mo' Creatures and it dropped to 0 fps.

Then I'm glad he was too lazy to install it. Sometimes it takes a hour to get a single frame(no, realy) and I don't need it to get laggyer.

Well, it used to, but I changed some settings. Now it sometimes takes 5 minutes to climb a 5-block high ladder at worst. Either way, I don't need any more lag. :3

@Boywhoflies: Then I recommend you get the Optifine mod. It helped SO MUCH. I can now play on Short render distance with low lag and with Normal render distance with some lag.

@TheThamaurge 1.8 without Optifine: Lag explodes on my face. 1.0.0 without Optifine: Most lag is gone. 1.0.0 with Optifine: Removed a bit of lag.

Optifine = Optifog + Optimine

It's much better, and is the only one available for 1.0.0 I believe.

Play on easy or higher.
Don't die purposely. (Don't jump to get your hunger bar down to die of it, but you can die of hunger, just don't make it happen. I don't care if there is no animals!)
Use render distance "Tiny".
If you have traveled over 200 blocks and you haven't found an island, TURN BACK!

CHALLENGES:
1. Build a house. (2 points)
2. Collect 10 fish. (5 points)
3. Make 5 wool. (3 points)
4. Find 5 diamonds and make a diamond pickaxe. (10 points)
4.1. Use the last 2 diamonds to make an enchanting table. (4 points)
4.1.1. Enchant that diamond pickaxe. (6 points)
5. Build an automatic sugarcane farm. (5 points)
6. Connect the islands with bridges. (5 points)
7. Use each island for something (starting island a forest, sugar cane island a enchanting place, etc.) (25 points)
8. Make an iron block. (10 points)
9. Make something with a redstone torch and a lever connected to one block. (Put a door in front of the torch for an extra 1 point!) (4 points)

I'm gonna try to do that as soon as I can. Some questions though.
1. Are there any rules against certain mods? I won't use SPC but Wizardcraft can supply unlimited trees using the plant staff, and lets you find ores by just clicking in random places using the earth staff.
2. Does the house have to be above ground?
3. Does the house need to be made of a certain meterial?
4. Do you need to live in the house, or can you build a safer structure somewhere else?

I downloaded the tri-mountain survival map. It's great. The guy who made it was generous, as he/she puts minerals everywhere(diamonds are not at all rare) but he/she also loaded it up with monster spawners.(Lucky for me, because of my spawner mod, I can just make it spawn chickens or something before it does too much damage. There was a Ghast spawner but I swaped it to chickens before it did anything. :3 )

My wizardcraft mod is having unexpected consequences. It added 2 new mobs, Golems and Wights. You can summon them with master earth and ice staffs respectively, but it turns out they spawn as neutral/hostile(respectively) mobs as well. The Wights are like unbannable single player griefers. They freese you and any mobs(including all my animals, blblbl), leaving ice blocks that flood the place if brocken. I spent like 4-8 minecraft weeks in a mountain(it was on tri-mountain) and when I came back the landscape was covered in greefer-style ice monuments, and all my animals ecaped(by climing the ice) or got killed by the Wights. D:

Oh well. If it means I get to summon lightning(lightning staff) and shoot fireballs(fire) and heal myself quickly(water) and get unlimited trees(plant) and get all the ores below a block from the surface(earth), and other epic stuff, I'll live with it. :3
